Malandra, Argentinean Tango Ensemble
Malandra was born in 2014, officially after the first match Argentina’s National Football Team played at the World Cup held in Brasil.
Even though Gustavo and Cecilia, who came as a couple to The Netherlands, had already met Soledad and Nacho, they had never spoken before to them. However, after that match, things were about to change.

Many things make Argentineans share moments: language, mate (traditional infusion), asado (steak/barbecue), tango or football, so the game made them know each other.
Maybe inspired by the national team's first victory in or by their nostalgia for the music of their motherland, they decided to form "Malandra", their own Tango band.
Through Malandra, these 4 outstanding musicians express their joy and passion for music and transmit all the things they love.
Malandra plays the best music of Rio de la Plata in Europe, specially tangos and milongas, always adding their own twist to one of the most sensual and emotional styles of music.
